IN THE FIELD BABY!

Ok I swear scout camp was supposed to only last one week but they kept us there 7 and then flew us to a new place so I´ve been super confused lately. Haha but I am so happy to be out of the MTC! and I freakin love the field.
Ok honestly this week in the field has been crazy, I dont even know where to start. So my first area is Tangua and its on the outscirts of Curitiba so it’s not super nice haha I'm living in Honduras ;) and my trainer is named Elder McQueen and hes from New Zealand! He doesnt let me speak English so I’m learning fast. I can ask "what time is lunch?" or "Who are we eating lunch with today?"and "When do you think well eat dinner?" ya im getting pretty good...the food here is so good...
Ok so the dogs here literally rule the streets. It’s terrifying. I feel like I'm that little boy again walking to piano lessons and running away from the dogs with my piano books. But here there’s a million dogs and now I’m running away with a Book of Mormon. I'm literally going to die hahaha. We literally have to take longer paths because theres this pack of dogs that wont let you cross this bridge.
Oh also guys, I drank soda for the first time in like 5 years on Saturday! I know I let you down but I vowed to never do it again so we’re good.
I live with another companionship in my little house and they are all obsessed with Pokemon. I'll be honest it gets on my nerves sometimes Haha I love them tho, and there's one Brazilian and I love him.
OH LISTEN haha so in Curitiba the actual city is actually really nice, but where I live is not. But we were in the city today and we walked around for like an hour to get more pokemon cards. And I was like can we go try to find a soccer jersey of the team here, and my trainer said no. hahaha but we walked all around the city to get flippin pokemon cards! I was getting so frustrated. And also the other day we saw some kids playing soccer and I was like can I go play with them and he said no. hahaha. But I dreamed in my head that I was playing with them. Which felt good. All I want is to literally buy a soccer jersey or play soccer with the kids and I cant but its all good. We are so different haha. I really like my trainor tho, he's a hard worker and good teacher and he keeps me busy, but not at night time because that's when they play pokemon.
Ok so big thing! We had a baptism yesterday on sunday!! Her name was Alexandria, and it was so amazing and felt so good! Here in Curitiba it's a little harder to get baptisms and I got one my first week so I am super blessed.
I also bore my testimony in testimony meeting yesterday, and I was terrified but I think it went really well :) the members corrected me on my portuguese after but it wasnt too bad ;) I really love the ward I'm serving in and I really love Brazilians. Maybe more than Americans honestly. I love talking to everyone, it really is my favorite thing!
One thing I want to share that my mission president shared with me is in Ether when he talks about when you come unto Christ he'll show us our weaknesses. And he gives us weaknesses so that we can be made strong. At the beginning of the mission and these last few weeks I struggled with thoughts of fear of not being good enough and I have remembered all of my weaknesses, and I was like "why did I not have these thoughts before the mission?" and "why all of a sudden am I struggling with these things now?" But I know as we grow closer to Christ we will go through trials and struggles, but when we pass through them the right way, we grow so much closer to him than we ever thought we could! I love the plan of happiness that God has for all of his children!
Thank you for all your messages and for everything! I love you all!
