IN THE FIELD BABY!

Ok I swear scout camp was supposed to only last one week but they kept us there 7 and then flew us to a new place so I´ve been super confused lately. Haha but I am so happy to be out of the MTC! and I freakin love the field.
Ok honestly this week in the field has been crazy, I dont even know where to start. So my first area is Tangua and its on the outscirts of Curitiba so it’s not super nice haha I'm living in Honduras ;) and my trainer is named Elder McQueen and hes from New Zealand! He doesnt let me speak English so I’m learning fast. I can ask "what time is lunch?" or "Who are we eating lunch with today?"and "When do you think well eat dinner?" ya im getting pretty good...the food here is so good...
Ok so the dogs here literally rule the streets. It’s terrifying. I feel like I'm that little boy again walking to piano lessons and running away from the dogs with my piano books. But here there’s a million dogs and now I’m running away with a Book of Mormon. I'm literally going to die hahaha. We literally have to take longer paths because theres this pack of dogs that wont let you cross this bridge.
Oh also guys, I drank soda for the first time in like 5 years on Saturday! I know I let you down but I vowed to never do it again so we’re good.
I live with another companionship in my little house and they are all obsessed with Pokemon. I'll be honest it gets on my nerves sometimes Haha I love them tho, and there's one Brazilian and I love him.
OH LISTEN haha so in Curitiba the actual city is actually really nice, but where I live is not. But we were in the city today and we walked around for like an hour to get more pokemon cards. And I was like can we go try to find a soccer jersey of the team here, and my trainer said no. hahaha but we walked all around the city to get flippin pokemon cards! I was getting so frustrated. And also the other day we saw some kids playing soccer and I was like can I go play with them and he said no. hahaha. But I dreamed in my head that I was playing with them. Which felt good. All I want is to literally buy a soccer jersey or play soccer with the kids and I cant but its all good. We are so different haha. I really like my trainor tho, he's a hard worker and good teacher and he keeps me busy, but not at night time because that's when they play pokemon.
Ok so big thing! We had a baptism yesterday on sunday!! Her name was Alexandria, and it was so amazing and felt so good! Here in Curitiba it's a little harder to get baptisms and I got one my first week so I am super blessed.
I also bore my testimony in testimony meeting yesterday, and I was terrified but I think it went really well :) the members corrected me on my portuguese after but it wasnt too bad ;) I really love the ward I'm serving in and I really love Brazilians. Maybe more than Americans honestly. I love talking to everyone, it really is my favorite thing!
One thing I want to share that my mission president shared with me is in Ether when he talks about when you come unto Christ he'll show us our weaknesses. And he gives us weaknesses so that we can be made strong. At the beginning of the mission and these last few weeks I struggled with thoughts of fear of not being good enough and I have remembered all of my weaknesses, and I was like "why did I not have these thoughts before the mission?" and "why all of a sudden am I struggling with these things now?" But I know as we grow closer to Christ we will go through trials and struggles, but when we pass through them the right way, we grow so much closer to him than we ever thought we could! I love the plan of happiness that God has for all of his children!
Thank you for all your messages and for everything! I love you all!

Bencao ou provacao

What up everybody!
holy cow this week has been an emotional roller coaster haha. I am so ready to get out of the mtc!
LAST WEEK THO!!
umm so somethings that have happened are, we bought some sauces like ketchup and bbq and hot sauce because the food is not that good on pday from the store and tried to use it at our meals, but we got in trouble. So now we sneak it in in a scripture case and it’s so fun hahah. But the lunch ladies just stare at it so they definitely know. Stupid Americans haha.
Also me and Elder Rowell have made it our mission to save all the elders from the sisters. So if we see elders talking to sisters we hide behind bushes or the walls are like "elder get out there its a trap!" ya we think were pretty funny. Just some MTC humor ya know.
Umm what else, umm my companion said he thinks the moon landing was fake so we didnt talk for a couple days. haha
We played a board game called the Livro de Mormon board game for atividades one time and we didn’t understand how to play, so we just made it up haha thats where the subject bencao or provacao comes from.
Ya but the mtc really is the same everyday, but I’m almost out of here! I can not wait! I love this gospel and I love this opportunity to serve! Thanks for everything everybody! I love you all.
I’ll talk to you all soon!!

Vai Ceará!!

Hello everybody.

hahah so Ceará is this soccer club here in Brazil and I know nothing about them but theres like 3 big teams in Brazil that everyone fights over and its like a big deal and everyone just fights and argues about it. But I found this one Brazilian in my hall who likes Ceará and there not like one of the bigger teams here and he was all alone, so I decided that I would join him and now Ceará is my team. So we really bonded over that.
Honestly this week was pretty similiar to all the other weeks! Classes all day, and ham and cheese paninis everymorning :) buttt I got a haircut and it was terrifying, the guy was like 50 years old and didnt speak any english but it was really good hahah.
Ok so everytime we go to the Temple or the city we ride in vans and it is insane!! The drivers are crazy and dont care about anything! it is honestly like everyone is playing mario kart. I get so sick and can not handle it hahaha and I am so surprised we havent died!

I jammed my finger playing basketball at Atividades but I played on. No big deal. basically i could probably get into the Salty Splatoon.

I am so sorry I don't really have a lot of time here to email in the CTM but I only have a week and a half left here so I'll be able to send more and be a little more descriptive soon!! I honestly can not wait to get out there! and we will have been here for 7 weeks because we had to come a week early because of Christmas and I am going crazy!

This week I am grateful for: Liahona Magazines, Elder Rowell, Confrence Talks, EFY Music, Campinas temple, and Filmes

Good Week

Hello Email Readers,
This week was pretty good. I felt the spirit strong and we had fun. Anyways I don't have a lot of time so I'll talk to you all later.

Ok now that all the fake email readers are gone...
WASS GOOD FAM!
hahah I'm just messing hopefully no one stopped reading, but ya this week was crazy! If I'm being honest one of the hardest weeks of my life but I see the tender mercies everyday. Being in the MTC is gettintg to me though haha. Umm so a couple days ago I saw a hole in my pants and me, having taken sports sewing in high school, was like that is no problem at all. Took out my sewing kit and and sewed it right up. Was feeling pretty good but I wore the same pants and the hole opened up again. So basically my senior year of high school was a waste.
haha but we got to go proselyting on the busiest street in Sao Paulo on Saturday and that was honestly a blast even tho everyone we saw just took the longest route to go around us. buuttttt me and my companion started to talk to a guy and we were just struggling saying things in Portuguese and then the guy was just like, "ya i speak english" hahaha so we talked to him for like 15 minutes in english hahah it was way cool. and he seemed way interested and he was super cool! My first moment as a real missionary hahah. And also that day we saw like 10 dogs so ya, pretty good day.
I had no idea I was so emotional before I came here haha. But my Brazilian roomates and all my Brazilians left this morning to the field and I just have been a wreck all day. Now I have to make new friends so that's rough. Haha no but for real I loved them so much! and I cant wait to join them!
The language is coming everyday! But I just want to say that I know I can do nothing without my Savior. I have been so humbled and so confused about how much our Savior really loves us. I know that God answers prayers and I know that we are never alone. So please come unto Him and find peace and joy in His atonement.

I love and miss you all so much!! I cant wait to see you all soon! I'll talk to ya later!

It’s me again from Brazil

Holy cow its already been another week! I think I have failed all you and my email last week was a little bit chaotic! But I'm working on it!
The MTC is sorta the same everyday except for Sunday cuz we got to watch a movie!! lessss goooo! hahah my district makes fun of me cuz I love movie day so much and look forward to it even though it's like an hour movie and just a Mormon movie in Portuguese. but my favorite part is the kissing scene and all the Brazilians just lose it and are like oooohhhhh, and its so funny! We watched a movie called 16 stones and it was probably the worst movie I've ever seen hahaha. but I am still loving it so much! My district also makes fun of me cuz I love the Brazilians and I'm tight with all of them. Shout out to my Man U tho, I hear they're killing it. I found a Brazilian who loves Man U and like the Man legends, like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes and we just lost it and we're having so much fun talking about that!
Also shout out to my guy Brevan who became a missionary today! love that guy so much!
I have to shave everyday so none of you will probably recognize me without my beard and mustache but its something I've just had to get used to,... (winky face) sorry the keyboards are messed up.
My companinon is Elder Mease and he's from Idaho and I love that man! haha I'm so blessed to have gotten a companion like him! It is soooo hot here! and the humidity is killing me. I miss the cold so much. But the bugs in the showers remind me of home so that makes it all good. Just kidding, I hate those stupid bugs that fly all over me in the shower.
so ya thats a little bit of my life. haha

This week I'm grateful for my companion, my savior, elder seiler who is the funniest guy ever and makes me happy everyday, all you guys, and Brazil!
talk to you all next week!!
